Helios
has produced many collateral and advertising projects
for B2B communications. We'll add more samples
as soon as we get some time.
Shuwa
Full-page newspaper ads (L.A. Times) for another
large commercial and residential real
estate corporation in Japan, Shuwa bought
the Arco Plaza in downtown Los Angeles during the
economic bubble. The owner later went to prison.
(Design, illustration and concept by Bill Womack for
Helios)
Ikoma
Ikoma is a dominant commercial real estate
firm in Japan. This is a guide to renting
office space (like, entire buildings in downtown
Tokyo) for multinational firms moving operations into
Japan. Much of it details the different neighborhoods
in Tokyo, what kinds of businesses are there, and
the, erm, unique rental culture and costs that can be
expected...
Magazine House
One of a series of media guides
(given to ad reps to attract overseas advertisers)
for Magazine House, the Conde Nast of Japan. This one
is for the Magazine House publication, "Gulliver," a
travel magazine thick and heavy enough that it
required a pocket folder made of strong plastic to
hold all the materials...
Sogo Shosha
Sogo Shosha (say that 5 times quickly!) is the
inscrutable name of the organization of all
the large Japanese trading companies. This
display ad (design and illustrations by Bill Womack)
appeared in Fortune Magazine...
Tobu
Tobu is one of Japan's largest corporations, owning
massive amounts of real estate, railroads, banks,
Gumps, and... the largest department store in
the world. This is part of the media kit for
the opening. The display photography is by
Graphis photographer, Patience Arakawa.
Secondary photography by Bill Womack.
